Sony has confirmed Grand Theft Auto 3 will arrive on the PlayStation Network next week.
The usual weekly PSN update for the US PlayStation Store that goes live next Tuesday will include the PlayStation 2 classic with a price tag of $9.99.
Sony stressed that the game would be a PS2 Classics download, essentially meaning it's the PS2 version running on the PlayStation 3. Unlike a HD upgrade, Trophy support and HD visuals won't be featured for GTA 3's digital version.
